Privacy notice on processing your data as part of your club membership
The controller for data processing is Courage! Saar-Lor-Lux e.V. (contact details in the Imprint), for the purpose of membership administration.
To manage your membership, we process the following data on the basis of your membership (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR):
- Name, first name, street, house number, postal code, city, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender
Date of birth and gender are passed on without direct personal reference as part of the annual athlete registration to the Saarland State Sports Federation (LSVS) and the Saarland Badminton Association.
Storage period: This data is stored for as long as you are a member. Afterwards we retain name, address, date of birth and payment data for the statutory tax retention periods.
Using your mobile number via WhatsApp for training coordination requires your separate consent (see checkbox above, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Onward transfer or internal use of your number by Meta/WhatsApp cannot be ruled out. You may withdraw this consent at any time, informally, via the board.
You have the right at any time to information, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of your data, and a right to complain to the competent supervisory authority (Unabhängiges Datenschutzzentrum Saarland, poststelle@lfdi.saarland.de). Not providing your data – except for name, address, date of birth and gender – has no effect on your membership.
